IF: Foggy

"Bobo, where are you?"

Yes! This is what Bobo would do when she's not willing to go home, she would go hiding and no matter how you call her, she wouldn't even utter a single mew.

* My original idea is to do the girl in blueish grey tone (above), then I try to add some color and pattern to the girl to see how it would turn out (right). Now I really can't decide which one is better or a more logical scene, any opinion about it?

Great piece, nice expression and atmosphere. Know this feeling well, a tin of tuna usually lures our cats in!

I like the one with the pattern and the colour in her face, the first is a wee bit ghostly, but that works if you want a creepy atmosphere:)
Cats can be quite contrary, especially girl cats, the boys tend to be big softies.

First of all, I just want to say heeeeeeeeeeheehee! Bobo looks adorable, hiding, with one ear perked up. Iggy does this to me. I'm telling you, they are related.

Also, I like both versions, very much. The one without pattern and color does have a more ghostly pallor, but I like that. The one with color is a bit more friendly. So, I guess it depends on what mood you are trying to get across.

I just love this one, both versions, love it!

Absolutely marvelous! Love the atmosphere and colors. I like both, but I think I lean towards the patterned dress more. Great illo! :))))

Wonderful illustration-- love the textures! I agree with 'sketched out's' comments. Great work!

My kitty used to do this when she was allowed outside. (Now she hides out in the garage.) I think I like the first one better--it creates that sense of anquish when a kitty is out, alone, in the dark. The patterned one lifts the mood some.

I prefer the blueish tone, because when a girl walking alone at night, she feel the darkness. I dont think she will feel great. So the blueish tone can match/show her feeling.

The first one is spookier, I kinda like the monochromatic colours, love Bobo's expression too.

Just watched the video, amazing how talented Bobo is! My kittie's big trick is ordering me around, she's very good at it.

Very nice take on the topic Julia. About your question I like best the second one although both are great.

Lovely work, you really captured a misty/foggy night and her expression is fantastic. Personally, I prefer the image with the skin tones rather than the grey... she does appear to be more ghostly in that image.
Cute kitty tucked in the corner. Thanks for sharing.

Look at Bobo hiding! I love her expression, trying to be really quiet...
I like the version with the colors, the grayish one works too, but the girl looks like she could be ghost, so it could be telling a different story.
I like how you did the fog and the light beam, very, very nice...

Both versions are awesome! You have done a wonderful job at creating a spooky atmosphere. I like the simpler, unpatterned dress version best ... but both are nice.
