The Pico Award

Bobo and I are so honoured to receive this wonderful Pico Award from the talented Princess Pepper Cloud. Go to her blog and you'll be surprised by what her ants can do. She is creative and full of imagination.

I've many great artists bookmarked, so I'm rather pressured by the number of choices. To make it easier on myself, I would like to present this award to those talented artists who feature animal illustrations on their blogs (those that who didn't receive this from me, I love your art just as much!):

1. Domino of 'The Nice Dog', the most witty dog I've ever met, who never fails to reveal his very own personality and character. (He is looking for a girlfriend now, can anyone help?)
   
   
2. Monica Carnesi of 'My Art Blog', I can always feel her love for her pets in her drawings. With her simple and relaxing strokes and beautiful water color wash, she creates wonderful illustrations.
   
   
3. For those of us who keep chickens as pets, Issi and her enchanting chickens spontaneously jump into my list.
   
   
4. Ele of 'Autour d'Elé', she creates an imaginative world filled with gorgeous characters.
   
   
5. Carla Carmina for introducing to us wonderful children book illustrators on her blog.

By the way, "Pico" in spanish means 'Peak'. Am I right?
